CONCOURSE A RENOVATION
At the Tulsa International Airport, Choctaw Defense Services is installing all structured cabling, including backbone copper and fiber cabling and all cabling for the security system. We are also installing audio systems, building all IT closets, and installing all displays, including flight information and gate information displays inside the concourse and ramp displays for pilots on the roof of the concourse. Becuase of airport security restrictions, this multi-million dollar project required extra training and security clearance for access to secure areas of the airport.
CABLING FOR INTERACTIVE PATIENT CARE SYSTEMSChoctaw Defense Services provides cabling and electrical work for GetWellNetwork’s installation of interactive patient care systems in VA hospitals across the United States. Specific tasks include installing Cat 6 cabling in patient rooms, installing fiber optic cable backbone, modifying nurse call systems, installing and modifying electrical drops and outlets, extending demarc for copper and fiber, installing coaxial drops, and installing j-hooks for proper routing of cabling.
This project received a 2014 Excellence in Construction award from the Associated Builders and Contractors of Oklahoma.
HEALTH AND WELLNESS CENTER - SEMINOLE NATION OF OKLAHOMAChoctaw Defense Services provided the technology design for the new Health and Wellness Center on the Mekusukey Mission Community Park campus. We were also awarded the contract to extend the OSP fiber to the new building and to install, terminate, and test all the voice, data, and CATV cables in the center.
TECHNOLOGY DESIGN FOR ARDMORE PUBLIC SCHOOLSChoctaw Defense Services developed a comprehensive technology design incorporating a voice/data structured cabling system, access control, security cameras, overhead paging and audio/visual systems. As part of this project, we generated “T” drawings for all systems, which included telecommunications room details for rack elevations, wall elevations, plan views, grounding and bonding locations, fire-wall penetrations, and wire mesh basket tray pathways. This state-of-the-art structured cabling system will meet the school’s needs now and for years to come.
CCTV System - Southwestern Christian UniversityChoctaw Defense Services designed the migration path of an existing CCTV system at Southwestern Christian University in Bethany, OK. Using their existing 35 analog cameras as a base, we are increasing the camera count to 112, which will provide surveillance for 16 campus buildings and, for the first time, allow central viewing of the total campus environment. The new system combines both digital and analog cameras, allowing the school to use low-cost surveillance in non-critical areas and more expensive high definition cameras in critical spaces. The system will be installed via new fiber runs as well as wireless point-to-point radios to connect two buildings without fiber routed.
